Tonight, I would like to adjourn in memory of Susan Lentini, a beloved community member and an all-around wonderful and selfless woman.
Susan was always passionate about helping others.
She was involved in many local charitable organizations such as the Rotary Club, Elks Lodge, Church of the Canyons and the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley – where I had the pleasure of working with her.
Even though Susan loved our City, her dedication to others was not bound to just that.
Susan and her husband Jim loved to travel and took many humanitarian trips to several locations across the world.
They frequently traveled to South America, including Columbia, Panama and Mexico.
Back in Santa Clarita, Susan and Jim founded and grew Lentini Insurance and Investments, which transformed into an incredible firm that was dedicated to serving the needs of our residents.
We are deeply saddened by her passing and our hearts are with her family, friends and loved ones.
Susan leaves behind her husband and two sons, Nick and Jeff.
Her husband, Jim, is here with us today and I would like to invite him to the dais to accept the adjournment honoring Susan.
