I would like to adjourn tonight’s meeting in memory of longtime resident Dale Lundgren, who passed away last month at the age of 64 following a long struggle with ALS.
Dale was born in Wisconsin and grew up on his family’s dairy farm.
After college, he ventured away from home – traveling as far as Papua New Guinea to work – before settling in Marina Del Ray.
He started his own business – Lundgren Management – in 1987 before moving to Valencia in 1989.
Over the years, Lundgren Management grew to become a top construction management company in the industry, providing services to schools and other organizations here in Santa Clarita.
He will be remembered for being someone who always had time for others, as well as being a man of profound kindness and integrity.
Dale also enjoyed spending his time with family and loved hunting and fishing, particularly days spent on his boat in the Channel Islands and taking trips to Canada, Wisconsin and Colorado.
Our thoughts are with Dale’s wife, Margaret, as well as his three daughters, four grandchildren and extended family and friends during this difficult time.
