We adjourn tonight’s meeting in memory of Virginia Smith Byram. In 1956, Virginia and her high school sweetheart married and moved to Newhall in the 70s.
In 1989, she received the honor of “Woman of the Year” from California Senator Ed Davis.
She enjoyed sailing with her husband Keith, gardening, politics and playing cards and Scrabble.
Our thoughts are with the Byram family during this trying time.
