We adjourn tonight’s meeting in memory of Charmaine Rosalie Posten, a longtime resident of Canyon Country.
Charmaine worked as a “Pink Lady” at the Santa Clarita Valley Hospital and was also a rural mail carrier out of the Saugus Post Office. She was a teacher at Verdugo Hills High School for 30 years.
Charmaine was also responsible for the naming of Lost Canyon Road with a petition she got signed in 1958.
She also dedicated her time to the Pet Assistance of Santa Clarita and was active as an actor in the Canyon Theatre Guild for many years.
Our heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathies are with the Posten family during this difficult time.
