We adjourn tonight’s meeting in honor of a dear friend and a man who was part of making Santa Clarita the great place it is today. Jay Rodgers was a philanthropist and a true lover of all things land. Many residents currently live on the land he developed and we thank him for turning this land into the Santa Clarita we know and value today. We will always be appreciative of Jay’s efforts and love for this City and thank him for his more than 50 years of dedication to making Santa Clarita an even better place to live, grow and love.
