We adjourn tonight’s meeting in memory of Dana Cop, a longtime community member, who touched the lives of many in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Dana grew up in Santa Clarita and even met her high school sweetheart, Peter, at Hart High.
Dana served as the director of external affairs for AT&T, served on the Executive Board for the Boys and Girls Club, assisted as a member of the Santa Clarita Educational Foundation. She also served as chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce in 2011.
Dana’s life was dedicated to being a wife and mother, and her passion for her hometown was contagious.
We will forever remember her kind heart, her courage and her commitment to making Santa Clarita an even better place.
