Tonight we honor Ted Rafalovich, a local resident and veteran who dedicated his retirement to volunteering in Santa Clarita.
Ted was an athlete, a graduate of USC and an Engineering Officer in the Navy. After serving in the military, Ted enjoyed a successful career in technical sales.
When he retired, Ted used his knowledge to help others. He volunteered with SCORE, the WorkSource Center and the Chamber of Commerce.
He also counseled hundreds of teens about business through the Junior Achievement and Regional Occupational Program.
Ted passed away peacefully at home on Christmas morning. He will be dearly missed by his wife Kim of 56 years, his four sons and his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted’s name to the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation.
