Tonight we remember a veteran and longtime Santa Clarita resident, David Alfred Gray.
In 1968, David moved his family to Saugus and spent 46 years of his long life in Santa Clarita.
David was a founding member and deacon of the Village Church in Newhall. He was instrumental in the construction of the church and spent countless hours supporting its mission.
He also worked as a plumber for the Los Angeles Unified School District for over 30 years.
David will forever be known for his fancy ties, funny slogan baseball caps and infamous quote, “I’m in good shape for the shape I’m in.”
David passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12. He will be dearly missed by his wife Maxine of 71 years, his three sons, two daughters and his many grandchildren.
